Visual documentation project of women
from the unrecognized villages in the
In 2014, the NCF launched Yusawiruna –
Photographing for Human Rights Project.
As part of the project, the NCF founded
several women’s groups, in which women
from unrecognized villages in the Negev
document both their lives and the
continual human rights violations in the
different villages. The participants receive
a personal camera and professional
photography guidance and support, and
learn about human rights and accessibility
to government services.
