During the months that preceded this non-routine period, I went out to take pictures of women in their 80s and 90s, from various fields. All of them still have a passion for life, and the external appearance and the physical image that was an inseparable part of their existence all of their lives is still their guiding principle. Their reality has changed. The performance halls have been closed before them, and the recreation to which they were accustomed has been taken from them. They are isolated in their homes, waiting to go out. It is time to allow them “to come out of their home”, and to represent an entire population of beautiful, strong, and isolated women.
