The photography marathon was first launched in Israel in 2017, sweeping hundreds of photographers from all over the country. In the Third Photography Marathon, hundreds of photographers will receive six secret photographic challenges, which they will have to perform at a set timeframe in the aim of finding a local and unique story and offering an interesting, exciting, and new perspective through the camera lens. The themes of the challenges will focus on the concepts: city, park and port – and according, the marathon will run from the festival location – Golf Complex in Neot Afeka, through HaYarkon Park, to Tel Aviv Port.
The photos will be reviewed (anonymously) by the jury, which will rank the winning photos and award prizes to the outstanding photographers.
