During their conversation, Bruder will talk about a photographic journey which began in her own residential building and became a personal search for “the ideal community”. Bruder has photographed at an artists’ house near Vienna for mentally disabled artists; at an institution for homeless alcoholics in Graz, Austria; and in other locations in Vienna, Bucharest and London, among others. Claudia Jaguaribe will present different ways of looking at life in São Paulo, whether through a bird’s-eye view or through the through the homes of its varied residents, who each provide their intimate vision of the city.
