PHOTO IS:RAEL invites organizations, galleries, and institutions to submit proposals for diversified collaborations with the International Photography Festival.
We are open to various and diversified proposals from exhibitions, social projects, workshops and more, in order to create quality content of value and interest to the public of professionals, art lovers, collectors as well as the general public.
The International Photography Festival is the largest photography event in Israel today.
Since its formation in 2009, the Festival has become a well-known cultural institution that welcomes tens of thousands of visitors each year, presenting works by over 200 leading Israeli and International artists alongside exhibitions of our community outreach programs for two weeks out of the year.
The Festival promotes an interdisciplinary approach and presents the medium of photography in combination with other arts such as dance, performance, theater, opera, and sound. During the day the Festival offers guided tours for schools and various institutions.
Then, from the afternoon onwards, the Festival opens its doors to dozens of visitors from across the country who come to see the exhibitions and participate in a variety of lectures, panels, and special events. The festival is accompanied by an extensive marketing campaign and receives major media coverage.
PHOTO IS:RAEL is a non-profit public benefit company.
We work to fulfill our goal of a “better society through the language of photography” by promoting social outreach and dialogue between art and various communities across Israel.
Since its formation, the company has offered platforms for exhibition and research and has spotlighted artistic and social topics through the language of photography.
We believe photography is a universal language that transcends cultural and gendered boundaries and is understandable to all.
It is a language that bridges the gap between the central and the marginal and between disenfranchised communities and the public at large.
